We sort wet from dry pieces as we process and stack wood into bins, so you can rest assured that our firewood for sale is ready to burn the day you buy it. When we encounter a green log (which means the tree was alive when cut and still contains a lot of moisture), we process it like normal and set it aside to season.
Although we cut our standard firewood at about 16 inches long, our firewood processor makes it easy to cut custom lengths. We’ve had many customers with smaller stoves request 14-inch, 12-inch, and even 8-inch long firewood pieces.
Get Exactly the Amount of Firewood That You Pay For
At the Koi Lagoon, we stack our firewood into pre-measured bins to ensure our customers get exactly what they pay for. When we say a cord of firewood, we don’t mean a “face cord” (which is actually 1/3 of a full cord); we mean all 128 cubic feet of firewood. Our wood team takes pride in stacking every piece as tidy as possible for minimal air gaps, which means you don’t have to worry about not getting what you pay for.
We also offer an excellent firewood value in what we call “chunk” bins, which we fill with log ends, mis-cuts, and unruly pieces that we can’t stack neatly into our standard bins. These chunk bins offer an affordable option for customers who don’t mind inconsistent piece sizes and chunkier firewood. For example, our smallest chunk bin is currently only $17.
Get Your Firewood Delivered Right to Your Home or Business
We understand that not everyone has the proper vehicle to transport large amounts of firewood, so we offer firewood delivery for amounts of 1/4 to 1 full cord and can deliver up to 2 cords at a time with our large dump trailer. We deliver firewood to homes and businesses across Fort Collins and Northern Colorado and only charge our delivery fee one way. That means you only pay for the mileage from our shop to your delivery location, not our return trip.

We know our customers are anxious to get water plants; however, due to the unpredictable temperatures and weather during Springtime in Northern CO, we wait until after Mother's Day to bring in our selection of water plants each year.
